If you are concerned that your child isn’t going to get good grades or a good education, ask the school about their academic achievements. They will be able to talk to you about their past test scores, pass rates, and how they stack up to other Christian schools in the area. Talk to them about the way that they hire teachers, how their students do in the future, and what learning methods they employ. Ask about the levels of reading and math they will cover and how they expose children to other subjects. No matter what public schools might say, Christian schools are certainly more effective in preparing children for other levels of education. Whether it’s the structure or the spirituality, that’s up for debate. Sometimes it’s just the fact that when you are paying for your education, you get more in return – and so does your child.
